About Us
Events That Matter was founded by Carrie Wykoff, who has been in the event industry for over twenty years and has produced events worldwide. Events That Matter are Events for the Planet. They honor the earth, they educate and they help to create community. Our events incorporate recycled and reusable products, and also aim to reduce waste. We practice sustainability by suggesting fair trade/local goods and services. We want the next seven generations to celebrate! We will offer you fresh and innovative ideas for your next event. Part of our mission is to offer our clients suggestions on how your event can be produced in a more green and conscious way. As a client you will pick what steps you would like to take. We believe that every little bit helps!
Some of our past events include conferences, gala dinners, industrials, fundraising auctions and retreats. We have also created meaningful gatherings and ceremonies to help people mark important life events such as weddings, memorial services, baby blessings, house/business blessings and more.
